“California Patio is a family-owned business that sets a benchmark for how to deliver quality products, installed by skilled craftsmen while providing superior customer service. A few months ago we had both a pergola (patio cover) and a retractable sunshade awning installed in our back yard around the pool area. This summer we spent more time outside in the shaded comfort of the combined patio covers than we had in all of the past 4 years of living here. The owners (Mike and Justin) are professional, prompt and very knowledgeable. Additionally, they double check things with the manufacturers to ensure that their installation is done properly. Their senior installation crew (Albert and Brad) are the guys you dream about showing up to do the work. Unfailingly polite, meticulous (Brad replanted our plants which they had no choice but to step on in order to put in the posts!) and without any wasted motion they worked like a dream team. They completely covered our pool so that no dust went in, and they cleaned up our patio better than they found it before they left! We had a little bit of trouble with the retractable awning due to the type of wall construction we had and after 1 phone call to them months after the installation, they called us back the same day and promptly came out to completely remedy the problem even better than new!
If you need a patio cover, these guys are honest, skilled and take extreme pride in their work - and it shows. Seriously, call them up now - we are true believers.”
“Wish I could give them 10 stars! I had an amazing experience with Mike, his son, and the patio installer. After having a bad experience with another patio company which after a month of broken promises and failing to return calls had backed out, I have Mike a call thinking there was no way we could get it done in a week. Concrete and patio cover. Mike stepped up and recommended Dee at KT concrete to first pour the patio. Again I was shocked when Dee met with me and had the patio poured within 2 days of calling him! Did an excellent job and although he had plenty of projects going, still found time to help me. Then 2 days later our patio cover was installed professionally. No surprises, it was done right! I can’t express enough my gratitude to California Patio for getting this done so quickly for us. Mike and his staff really go the extra mile with service and quality. Very helpful, family, small town feel to his company. Not like those other “big name” places. And he uses the same materials as those other companies. So why not get excellent service, a good price, and a local company who does the work right the first time!? I will recommend California Patio first for anyone who asks me where to get a cover. “I was referred to this company by a friend. I am glad I was led in their direction. They did a great job on my patio cover. Man I did a lot of research before I purchased one. The customer service was also great which helped the buying process. They answered all my questions and assured me everything would look great. This was a great addition to my backyard. Now when we entertain in he back yard we will have shade!!! Just to let you YELPers know I have been looking for a patio cover for about 3 years looking for what I wanted and looking for the right company to meet my needs. “When we purchased our new home we wanted landscape our backyard with theme of Rome. After looking and searching for the perfect patio design we came across California Patios. They were very professional and they listened so they understood what we wanted to build in our backyard. Justin (One of the Owners) took his time to help us with the design, color and the painting of the pillars. When the design was completed it was exactly what we wanted.
